New and Expectant Mom Support
We provide support for CMOMs who are expecting and for new members with children under age 3 months. It is the goal of our New and Expectant Mom Support program to offer our new and expectant members advice and support regarding their pregnancy, navigating the first months as a parent(s) of multiples, and to help acquaint them to the CMOMs organization.
Each new and expectant member is assigned a New Mom support Leader (NL). This is their liaison to the world of multiples and to the CMOMs organization. This member is dedicated to being an active supporter of the new or expectant member and will communicate with them via email and phone calls. The NL will also post a birth announcement for the member on the CMOMs internal website once her babies have arrived (provided the member would like for this to be posted).
This is wonderful support provided to new and expectant members as they embark on their journey to the world of multiples. This group offers local, personalized support for those expecting multiples or who have just welcomed their newborn multiples.
Other programs offered to our new and expectant parents:
We provide support to our new mothers including a Post Partum Depression Support Group, Breastfeeding Support, and free loaner program for double nursing pillows. We provide helpful information to our expectant mothers such as an equipment list of the needs for the first few months, milestones for the first year, and information on cloth diaper services, night nannies, and breastfeeding support services. We also offer events just for our new and expectant moms. These include:
